Overview of building Ysios wineries, Laguardia (Alava)

Winery in the town of Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa. Opened in 2001, it was one of the first wineries
which joined wine with cutting-edge architecture, in this case with a team of architects led by
Santiago Calatrava. Here we can see a distant view of the building, with its sinusoidal forms,
with the Sierra de Cantabria in the background. The name "Ysios" is a particular tribute to
Isis and Osiris, two Egyptian divinities intimately connected to the world of wine.
